“My art unfolds a strong sense of innocence simultaneously with light hearted pleasures.

My pieces celebrate a quality which exaggerates colour and perspectives, intentionally exposing brush marks and paint drips to show signs of the hand made and contribute to the visual environment of my works.

I also love to capture light and subjects from unusual perspectives, as I believe there is an honesty in the imperfect.”

Vynka Hallam was raised in a true creative environment; her great grandmother was an artist and opera singer, and her mother has always been a very creative person.

A self-taught artist, Vynka was encouraged to follow her creative pursuits and began drawing in charcoal at a young age.

“I love to capture light and subjects from unusual perspectives, believing there is an honesty in the imperfect.”

“CYNTHIA simply represents the nostalgia of Australian nature. Along my daily explorations of the coastal trails, I’m inspired by what I have observed, Intuitively I then want to express the sense and feeling of experience.”

“It’s a complete honour to be showcased alongside the artisans involved in the CELEBRATE OUR CREATIVES collaboration. The positive and energetic vibe of THE INSPIRED CO has been very infectious.

I am so happy to have a part in supporting local artisans, sharing experience and connections, now more than ever in 2020, to support each has such amplified value this year and is the true essence of the artists and community.”
